So this weekend we were rained out of a tasty gig in Regina’s Wascana Park. We were about to go on then then the sky cracked open. Strangely all was not lost.
We stuck around the park after the relatively short storm and had a very enjoyable adventure. The downpour seemed to revitalize the grass, the trees, and our spirits. We rolled out of our vehicle and into a green world. We strolled around and were impressed by the vibrancy of mother nature. Double rainbows we saw! Double! It was sweet.
Also Handy drives like a maniac. But at least he knows how to drive a standard. June 19th we’ve got a gig at Amigos Catina with our friends Volcanoless in Canada. Supa talented band. It’s going to be crazier then Handy talking about his conspiracies. Show up if you live in the 306 area code.
We’ve got pictures ddddone. More soon more soon.
Okay so Fridays photos we’re too salacious for the internet so it took em down.
And on we go!
Well the 3P is nearly 100% mixed and ready to go [josh 1 more thing!]. So that means we’re releasing it soon. Do you want a copy? It’s pretty good I must admit.
We’ll be releasing it to our email list first (our moms, Crystelle, and Crystelle’s mom) . If you want to be like our mom then sign up and we’ll send it to you the day it comes out. Wow, what a deal!
To sign up to the email list just send email@example.com a email with the code word “muddah” or “faddah” or “sistah” or “bruddah” in the subject line. Capiche? fugetaboudit.
Yeah. party on Wayne.
Hidey hi Jambourinis,
Let’s celebrate the success of three generally lazy gentlemen!
We’ve managed to capture the wonderful sounds of the 60s in our newest songs!
This ^ man is not John Lennon
In the past week alone we’ve produced 4 new songs! That is 3 percentiles higher than the last quarterly review!
This ^man is John Lennon
p.s. keep up the good work
Hi hi hi everyone,
We almost had it figured out
Stupid weather is toying with us again. We go from a wonderfully hot day with sun to a not so wonderfully cold day with snow. I’m not sure how all of it works but I do know that Summer is overdue and we should maybe hire the library to recall some warmer weather. They are ruthless.
The show was great on Saturday if you missed it. We played as hard as we could and I managed not to mess up the bass parts to terribly.
The new beginning that we’ve got going is a change to the jam space. Being the forgetful gent that I am I didn’t take pictures of it but its awesome. Kind of like our own little stage to play on.
More tomorrow hopefully:
p.s. Mozart was a far better child prodigy that the kids of today.
Its snowing outside today which is bogus because I thought Summer was coming at us. No matter, we’ll let the weather have it’s way with you.
I have a great post but I have necessary ArmsUp News to post today. Somehow I always have great stuff to post when I have to be telling the news. And then on other days I have no great things to post and the news is boring. I re-read that last sentence…I’ll just let the weather have it’s way with me.
Tomorrow: Being 9 May 2009 ArmsUp, along with some other great bands (Jiminy, Library Voices etc.) will be playing at LOUIS’…Doors at 8.
Let the weather have it’s way with you:
p.s. the kills are my new fave band
