Now doesn’t that look just wonderful?  I’m betting that most non-coffee drinkers would agree that picture is a nice looking drink.  Might even try a bit if you don’t mind me doing so.

Yes good coffee if a great thing.  It doesn’t take a whole lot to get started in drinking quality and it doesn’t take much practice either.  I did it so I’m sure the rest of you can.

First off, get rid of your gigantic canisters of coffee!  Coffee doesn’t keep forever and those enormous cans are for serving hundreds of people.

Secondly, go get some good beans that you can grind (in a grinder or blender).  This way you can enjoy the flavour and freshness.

After that it’s your choice.  Do you go for a coffee press?  Just keep the nice drip maker you have, or splurge on an espresso machine.  Like I said, it’s your choice.

Just tryin to help your day out a bit.

Howdy hi everyone!

Holy smokestacks the weather tells me that it is only -17 outside!  That means, less freezing and more fun.  But I come here to remind you that it is the middle of the week and soon we’ll be free to enjoy our weekends!  These are great thoughts that will get you through many things.

So enjoy today as the last day of the beginning of the week that you wished you could have skipped out on.

So we went to Edmonton, played a show, slept over and made it back home this weekend!  Edmonton is a picturesque city but cold and snowy right now.  The show was lots of fun even if Voyno’s amp bit the dust at the end.  Thanks to Tomas Marsh and Blazing Violets for rockin’ the stage with us.  Always be prepared my friends for something to go wrong and hopefully it won’t happen.

So this week we’re hopefully getting everything recorded for our next 3p.  We’ll see how it goes but I’ve got my fingers and my toes crossed (this also helps to keep body heat from escaping in the frigid cold nuclear winter we’re having, El nino my frozen ass).

Monday returns and Saskatoon is kept in it’s deep freezer temperatures.  No matter, I’ve got some hot new music care of Voyno from Iceland.  Presumably it’s colder out there than it is here and that’s nice to think about.

So, the band is called Who Knew, they’re from iceland and they sound somewhat like Wolf Parade who I also like. Their Myspace is Here.

I’ve been rushing about getting ready for our trip tomorrow, burning cds, reading maps, listening to Chopin.  O.k. Chopin has nothing to do with busy, but when you stop to listen then you get rushed.

The crazy part though is the strange creature I call a sister that is fluttering about the house.  She’s full on cabin fever and it has only been 1 day since she finished finals.

So to avoid cabin fever I recommend we all congregate at the pub!

How’s everyone doing out there in the winter season?  We went from -4 to -30 in 2 days up here in Saskatoon.  Not sure how that happened but wowsers it’s cold outside!

Us ArmsUp Boys are in busy mode for sure. We play Edmonton this Friday (Dec 11) At Brixx Bar (details are on the Myspace), we’re gearing up to record a holliday 3p which we will hopefully have done by the holliday, and we’re working on writing as many new songs as we possibly can in the small amount of time left over.
